"BE BRAVE" Workshop Review

The body-centered workshop by and for women. Learn to express your needs.

In May and June 2024, our intensive one-day workshop “BE BRAVE” took place – a special space for women to give themselves a voice (again).

Many of us know it: there is this “no” that feels right – and yet we say “yes”. We hold back our opinions, swallow insults, don’t express our needs or think: “Oh, that’s not so important.” But what happens to everything that remains unspoken?
Body and soul do not forget. The consequences often manifest themselves not only emotionally, but also physically: exhaustion, sleep problems, brain fog, back pain, gastrointestinal complaints – signals that tell us that something inside us wants to be heard and expressed.

In a small, trusting group, we explored together:

  • Which feelings, needs and boundaries we often suppress – and why.
  • Which inner convictions and beliefs inhibit us – and how we can question them.
  • How we can learn to deal with difficult feelings such as fear, shame or anger.
  • And above all: how the body supports us in truly integrating all of this.


Accompanied by Anna Stimpfl from Deine Körper Praxis and Lele Pittman, the participants experienced a day full of mindfulness, bodywork, breathing exercises, reflection and exchange – with depth, lightness and plenty of space for personal development. We are grateful for the openness, trust and strength that each individual woman brought with her.

Voices from the workshop: one participant reports small but effective changes in her everyday life:

  • “In the office, I used to get caught up in the hectic pace of a colleague. After the workshop, I was able to stay calm and suggest going through the tasks step by step – and suddenly she was more relaxed too.
  • In a phone call with a friend who usually talks a lot, I took space for myself for the first time and talked about my experiences. The conversation was more balanced – for both of us.
  • And during the wellness weekend with my sister, I didn’t wait as I usually do, but instead clearly said what I wanted to do. It was easy, beautiful and harmonious.”

A wonderful example of how much can change when we take ourselves seriously – and find the courage to speak up.
