From 23 onwards I had problems with a chronic sore throat. I ran from doctor to doctor, tried medication, herbal remedies and homeopathy in the hope of getting better. Nothing helped, the pain kept coming back. Then a good friend introduced me to the Grinberg Method and, in an intensive process, I learned to feel my grief, which I had ignored and smiled away for over 20 years. The grief had built up over the years, partly due to the loss of my father at a young age, a lonely childhood and the belief that I was only loved when I was in a good mood.
Feeling my body, giving space to my grief and being allowed to cry, even in front of others, took a lot of effort but made my life richer and freer. I have learned to read the signs of my body and to see pain, emotions and body signals as friends who guide me and show me limits and possibilities. My body breathed a sigh of relief. It was such a wonderful feeling that I quickly decided to learn the method and give my clients a piece of their own freedom by teaching them to be more of their body again, to breathe deeply and to live an intense life.

Driven by the question ‘How the world out there works’, I have spent 20 years developing and building ecological buildings in various places around the world. This brought me into contact with people who want to make a difference at a very early stage.
At the same time, however, I was also concerned with the question of ‘how the world inside works’. I came across many forms of therapy, starting with classical Gestalt therapy, systemic therapies, dance therapy, meditation, shamanic work and various forms of massage.
With the Grinberg Method, I was able to free myself from a chronic stomach blockage that had plagued me since childhood, which meant an incredible improvement in my quality of life. I understood that this is a fascinating form of mediation work that can achieve success on many different levels in a comparatively short time – and for many people it means saying goodbye to suffering.
